SANSKRIT DAY: Celebrating the Language of Wisdom

A celebration of the timeless beauty, richness and cultural legacy of Sanskrit came alive in the  school ,when Sanskrit Diwas was celebrated on 25 August 2026.

The celebration brought together students through a vibrant blend of shloka recitation, Sanskrit songs, story narration and a lively Sanskrit drama. Students from different classes showcased their pronunciation, expression, confidence and understanding of the language with great enthusiasm.

The young performers beautifully brought Sanskrit to life through stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, meaningful shlokas and captivating cultural presentations.

The celebration also featured a Sanskrit song and drama, adding colour and energy to the occasion. The talents of the participants were recognised through prizes, certificates and mementoes, encouraging students to connect with and cherish this ancient language.

Sanskrit continues to be a bridge between India’s rich heritage and the curiosity of its young learners.

The celebration was a joyful reminder that a classical language can remain vibrant, relevant and inspiring in the hands of the next generation.
